Belize Fly Fishing Trip

Join D&H for an amazing saltwater adventure to Belize, Central America. We will be staying at the Blue Bonefish Lodge and fishing the beautiful Caribbean waters.  Brian Barnard, D&H fly fishing instructor, will be hosting this trip.  Belize is incredible easy to get to (a 2 hour flight from Atlanta), an English speaking country, amazingly affordable, and the fishing is fantastic!  Join Brian on this fantastic saltwater adventure.

FISHING
The waters in and around Belize are home to massive schools of bonefish, resident and migratory tarpon, and big permit. In addition, there are good numbers of barracuda, snapper, jacks, snook, and other species. We are targeting the big three…Tarpon, Bonefish, and Permit.

A typical day involves you and your fishing partner taking turns at the front of the boat casting over schools of bonefish, tarpon and permit. You do not have to be an expert caster, especially for the bonefish. There are plenty of shots at 30-50 feet with hundreds of bonefish in schools.

A few highlights of the trip include…

  • Six nights at The Blue Bonefish Lodge on Ambergris Caye, an island just off the coast of Belize.
  • Five days of fully guided fly fishing. All guides are born and raised on the island, so their knowledge of the area is second to none! They all speak fluent English.
  • All meals and lodge amenities.
  • Access to countless miles of crystal clear Caribbean waters and the second largest barrier reef in the world.

Brian has fished Belize on multiple occasions and is excited to travel with you on this amazing adventure!  He will also help fine-tune your casting before the trip at no additional cost!
