Fishing report for the Elkhorn on Monday.
First cast on a tan foam hopper produced a decent fish. No action on the purple&white clouser. Picked up a few fish on D&H Bugger. Got one to take the Elvira’s cicada. Had a sunfish take a Dixie Devil in middle of frog water and then a big smallie come and take the sunfish. Good fight for a few minutes. Smallie finally let go.
Water is too low. Not enough water on the banks or in the good runs. Kentucky needs rain.
